The Hidden Food Combination That No One is Talking About

Chipotle NEEDS to add ranch to their menu, and here is why:

If you know me, you how much of an advocate I am for ranch being an option for Chipotle bowls and burritos. I've never gone in-depth on it, so here we go!

First and foremost, ranch is something that is almost never offered at places that serve burritos/bowls. Yes, there is usually some form of chipotle ranch or southwest ranch, but traditional ranch is never served. Queso is always offered, but aren't we tired of the same sauces every time we go out to eat? People are always looking for something different, and ranch is the perfect go-to.

I first experienced ranch on Chipotle burritos when I was a junior in high school. We got Chipotle to-go after a hockey practice. When we got home, my older brother sat down at the dinner table and pulled out the bottle of Hidden Valley ranch from the fridge. Of course being the nosy person I am, I was a bit confused but intrigued. I snagged the bottle once he was done, and copied the way he put ranch on his burrito. The burrito game has forever been changed for me.

The best way to use ranch on your Chipotle is by first taking two bites out of your burrito to create a small pocket on each side. Then, before the next bite, pour a little bit of ranch into the pockets. Take a bite, enjoy, and repeat. Simple as that. For bowls, it is a little different. I always go with drizzling ranch over the entire bowl, and then mixing it all up. Some people like to mix it all up with their fork, or put the lid on the bowl to shake it up and go from there. Whatever floats your boat works! Granted, I eat Chipotle bowls with a spoon instead of a fork. That's a topic for discussion on another day.

What I ask of you is the next time you go to Chipotle, give ranch on your burrito/bowl a chance. People think it's a little crazy, and maybe it is, but taste buds don't lie! A lot of people throw hate on this idea, yet they haven't ever tried it. All it takes is one try to change the way you eat Chipotle, and I promise you, it will be glorious! If you don't like it, PLEASE throw some shade at me! I'm that confident you'll like it.
